After 20 days of uninterrupted power supply, Eskom has announced the return of Stage 3 load shedding, citing what it calls “another temporary setback.”
In a statement released earlier today, the power utility confirmed that load shedding will take effect from 17:30 on February 22 and will remain in place until further notice.
Eskom has not specified the exact cause of the setback but assured the public that an update on the situation will be provided on Sunday, February 23.
