The utility has mapped out a week of power rationing, citing a dire need to conserve its dwindling emergency reserves amid a stark generation shortfall.

- Continued Stage 3: Until 05:00 AM Monday
- Shift to Stage 2: From 05:00 AM Monday until 16:00 PM
- Back to Stage 3: Resuming from 16:00 PM until 05:00 AM Tuesday
Eskom’s announcement comes with an urgent note that the alternating stages of load-shedding between Stages 1 and 3 will persist through the mornings and afternoons from Tuesday into Wednesday.

- Unplanned Breakdowns: 16,264MW
In a bid to restore some normalcy, Eskom anticipates a return of approximately 3,700MW by Tuesday evening, with restoration efforts in full swing.
